What you should know about Chartr Manor Luxury B&B
It had been built in 1983 in Tudor Style architecture set on 2. With their blended family of five adults living away from home, what better use than to setup a B B in Thames and share it with others to allow them to experience the true New Zealand culture. The house for our Thames B B was named Chartr after Pauline's family name Chartres, aka Charteris. She is a volunteer member of the Thames Land Search and Rescue and Department of Conservation, Thames Heritage Society, Forest Bird, Thames' Women's Adventure Group, Totally Thames Inc, Coromandel Coastal Walkways, Kauaeranga Tramping Club, Whangamata Tramping Club, Natural Growers Society, Thames B B Group, and ProjectTongariro. He was born in Thames, leaving at the age of fifteen to follow his dream of becoming a farmer.
Fulfilling his dream, he has returned to his home town, after being away for forty years. He is interested in most sport and is currently playing golf and enjoys fishing. Pauline and Dennis enjoy working in their SPRAY FREE garden growing produce to share with others. Home baking is always welcoming and healthy free range eggs from their own chooks are a treat.

We are so glad to have had the privilege of staying at such a beautiful place with terrific hosts. A pretty deposit to stay outstanding views and vast hospitality very comfortable.
