The School Moanataiari is a state full primary school situated at the North Western end of Thames. The school site was formed by reclaiming from the sea, land on which the tailings from the old gold mine shafts were dumped. Our school will aim to prepare all children for life through high quality learning opportunities by teachers with community support. To encourage life long learning, by providing a well rounded education that enables children to be independent and to be adaptable to an ever changing world environment.
We are fortunate to have a Mandarin Language Assistant with us at Moanataiari School for 2016 and ex . Students are required to sit for 10 minutes to eat their lunch, supervised by classroom teachers. As well as newsletters for the complete school, individual classes syndicates send notices home from time to time. Que Huang comes from China and is going to work with our students and teachers at Moanataiari School to h. The focus of this is to assist our parents who are active and need someone to protection for their children, however this service is available to the wider community.

While she is here Que Huang will also be busy with other schools through the Virtual Learning Network LVN Primary and she will be involved in teaching online to other schools throughout Fresh Zealand. Que Huang comes from China and is going to labor with our students and teachers at Moanataiari School to help us learn and grasp more about Chinese Culture and the Chinese Mandarin language. At 3pm students are to walk their bikes out of the school grounds and depart by the supervised crossings. We are also members of the Garden to Plate program which teacher us about growing and eating health food.
This is the first time that this sort of programmed has taken place, in a primary school, in the Thames Coromandel Area. Que Huang wishes for her students to know more about China and Chinese culture and language. If your kid is turning five we welcome routine visits to school as this can make the transition to school life easier.
